The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.   Regards,  Matthew

The same Paea that Rovers where favourites to sign till he asked for £150k.

We'll have to trust Gentle regarding McGoldrick. We have, in effect, replaced Ellis with a more experienced player (who will be there just to provide cover in a number of positions). I think people need to keep a sense of perspective. Let's see where we are when our recruitment is finalised.

Good luck with that.
You don't need luck when the deal has already been done. I'd be more concerned that Rovers are offering pay cuts to out of contract players. Must be putting Galeas wages towards keeping Lovegrove.

Not saying the deal hasn't been done as it sounds done and dusted, It's the money you'll have given him. Your getting a quality player rest assured but the money Paea and Ellis will command surely needs to be spent on a halve and a fullback?
Why also should I be concerned that Rovers are offering pay cuts to out of contract players. Surely for a club like Rovers who have no money the fact we are spending less is music to my ears. Sort out the finances at HKR avoid a Bradford situation and come back stronger in years to come.

I don't know what you mean.
I'm asking chester which one of our main targets Hkr have trumped us on.

None at a guess as we don't have the money to compete with yourselves. We have to get smarter in the type of players we sign and start watching the pennies..

You should be concerned about Rovers as you can't afford your attendances to drop below where they are now. You'll have a new stand to pay for next year as well. You're not cutting back to "come back stronger". You're cutting back just to survive. Anyway, after listening to Adam Pearson's interview I'm not concrned about our recruitment. Qite the contrary. I'm also amazed you have detailed knowledge of exactly how much Ellis & Paea are going to be earning.
