Do not want this player anywhere near my team, he's done nothing for Cas this season apart from give away cheap and dirty penalties, bet Cas couldn't believe their luck when he asked to be released.

Not rhetorical, just read on his wiki profile that Wests wanted him when he came to Cas. No idea how long Gentle was at Wests, but it's possible if he was involved then that he's kept an eye out for him, that's all.
I don't know if it's been mentioned on here before but I'm hearing that the big NRL prop we've signed for next season is Keith 'Big Red' Galloway from Wests. State of Origin and International honours to his name; would be an awesome signing if true.
