I have watched Holdsworth a couple of times this season and he is good imo, he may actually fit into Gentles plans of a mobile pack, I would like us to find a f/back to compliment the h/backs and I reckon our recruitment looks pretty good tbh

He's going to be a fantastic player but another centre for 2013?

He has some quality about him but I'd be a little underwhelmed tbh. He doesn't have that real pace or X factor that we badly lack in the halves.

I would be very pleased if we could sign Bateman, especially if Tickle is to leave to go back over the pennines. A backrow of Ellis, Bateman, Westerman, Whiting, with Pitts and Kent as cover isn't too shabby. Holdsworth would be decent too, and he's a good kicker. Salford have played some fantastic attacking rugby this year so some of that (with a tighter defence) wouldn't be bad.

I thought that I'd only seen him play centre. Stand-out player though without a doubt. Him and Whitehead would be very nice indeed.
