Dunno really. I'm not a huge fan of subsites having things that you can regularly find on any decent sport website, like match reviews/analysis. It's a lot to ask but it would be nice just to read some decent opinions on the team and players, be it from fans or anybody higher who may be willing to help. I like reading things about statistics as well, I'm not too sure how available they are for the general RL fan, maybe Phil Clarke is only allowed them.
A decent picture area that's well looked after would be pretty nice. There's a clothing website called Crooked Tongues and they have an area called 'What I'm wearing', where people put pictures of their trainers on for people to show. A similar sort of dedicated area for fan pictures would be pretty nice, whether they're in-game or inside/outside of stadiums, most pictures usually provide a laugh. It'd be pretty cool to see if anybody could produce things like 'fan art', i.e. nice graphics and edits of players and so on, although I admit it can be dodgy ground with regards to the AUP.
Not sure how easy it is to have somebody dedicated to writing a blog/column on a small subsite like this, but having a regular column talking about burning topics around the club (squad headaches, contracts, youngsters, etc.) would be pretty decent, providing it's somebody balanced and willing to create a debate, not antagonise/WUM people.
There are plenty of things that can be done well, there are many fansites/blogs and stuff that have worked well with some football club supporters, but a standard has to be set and maintained. I hate nothing more than something that starts well then ends up going downhill, hopefully those who contribute (assuming you want fans to contribute) can set the bar pretty high.

well some good ideas could have something along the lines of people submitting their burning issues and will put it on with a comments option or i can collate ideas that come up on the forum and create a "backchat" type situation
