Overall pretty impressive, there was some great tries from our lads. Against Wigan they just seemed the better side, stronger and quick off the mark- they haven't lost a game the entire series. Interestingly though they are only 7th in the Valvoline Cup, make of that what you will.
400 odd at Orrell, which was good considering there was soccer on not long after. Great facility but was surprised at the lack of a bar, though I got the impression that in the past there may have been one, but it was closed during the recent refurbishment into Wigan's training centre. Like I say a great concept and enjoyable night, but it hasn't been advertised at all, yesterday morning I tried to find out info online, there was next to nothing.
With a bit of promotion it could be turned into a top family evening, I know on the forty twenty podcast (Great btw) Rod Studd mooted getting Barry Hearn to promote the nines next year. Better still, get him in Red Hall full time!
