beach was great, just shy of 80 degrees, cool sea and managed to get molly wet to cool her down, couldnt stay too long though as no shade.proper day out tomorrow though at the beach with her tent shade, her own beach towel LOL, we spoil her and picnic.mmmmmmmmmm

hope you and yours are well.

Fair enough, but people around here tend to leave it at the bottom of lamposts and when I asked someone one day why they did that they said because they know someone from the council will pick it up!, very annoying.

Glad Molly enjoyed the beach, I dread to think what the East Coast will be like tomorrow and Sunday, packed down like sardines

We're only doing one walk a day, first thing cos its too warm for them.

Please don't take this as a definitive answer but I'd guess it has something to do with moisture content.

Whoah there fella.
That sounds suspiciously like a pancake.
Or a crepe, if you prefer.

Since when did you pour a pancake intoa ring? The only difference is crumpet batter (same as oatcake batter) is yeasted

The older I get, the better I was

Ah, you didn't mention the ring.
Or the yeast.

So, I guess the yeast fermenting is what gives it the holes?

The question that comes to mind more and more often is "Why do people ask questions on the Sin Bin"? It's not like anyone on here knows anything useful.

We have some dudes who know photography, gamers, and we have some computer geeks (obviously), but for anything else you might as well cut out the middle man and go straight to Google yourself.
And don't be fooled by the few who manage to, at some point in any debate, introduce their specialist subject - eg. transport logisitics in the greater Humberside area, or pubs that used to exist in Meanwood pre 1980 but are now much more attractive and inviting piles of rubble (McF :NAUGHTY: ). I've never seen anyone actually interested in the average deisel consumption of an HGV when travelling from Hull to Robin Hood's Bay.

I myself have more than one degree and work as scientific director for our International business division, but would struggle to pull directly out of my head anything scientific that didn't relate to the relatively small area that I now work in.

Pah!

It wasn't just any old pub in the Meanwood area that is now reduced to rubble - IT COULD HAVE BEEN MY PUB !!!

If my grandfather hadn't lost that game of cards with his brother.
