This is what is so wrong with the whole system

A Cayman based vulture capitalist buys up Greek debt for 10% of its value, gambling on the Greeks not defaulting and also threatening to sue them through the courts if necessary, thereby freezing their "assets". The €400m he has shovelled into his account has been funded by EU bailout money. He's got previous form in this, having sued Brazil for $600m in the past.

I'm struggling to reconcile how a man who, for tax reasons, hasn't lived in the US since 1994 is allowed to sue through the US legal system.

So now we have John Bolton lecturing Europe

Probably one of the worst of the neo-cons, whose party managed to turn a surplus into the mother & father of all deficits by prosecuting unwinable wars. And he's lecturing Europe?

In fairness it wasn't only the wars that turned Clinton's surplus into Bush's large deficits, it was also all the tax cuts for the rich that Bush brought in and lost tax revenue.

But of course Bolton would probably argue that tax cuts increase tax revenue so yeah it must have been the war.
