Indeed. 4th worst Colleyhurst, Manchester? It looked just fine to me a few months ago when I was there for a break researching my family tree. Maybe 150 years ago Angel Meadow in Colleyhurst was the most deprived but they have built some wonderful apartment blocks next to the new Co-op headquaters and in the old tobacoo factory.

Was in Liverpool on Saturday and it's looking better than it has in years. It certainly, looks alot better than huge areas of London, Manchester, Bradford, Leicester etc.
Was in Widnes at the weekend and it looks like a boom town compared with alot of Southern market towns. Lots of new building.
Live in Harpenden and of late a few shops have closed and there are lots of houses in the £1M to £3M range for sale, suggesting the pinch is being felt.

All that shows is that multi millionaire landlords are buying up cheap property and land, that is hardly a measure of the deprivation in an area.
Don't fall for all this bull about poverty, thanks to David Cameron's pro-growth strategy these so called deprived regions have become prosperous and wealthy.

What pro-growth strategy ? He's not got one as he's not got a clue. You are funny though.
