According to YEP this morning, he was hoping to go to Australia - Danny Buderus been trying to line him up a club but Leeds won't let him go for the rest of the season they only will let him go for the short term... sounds like he could be out at season end....

GWMC for the Cas n District Snooker League Title....!!! Up the workies !!

Shame really as I don`t think he has been given the chance he deserves.
Either that or he just does not do what is required in training.
Whilst he might have made the odd mistake whilst playing for the first team.
He certainly played well in the WCC and has shown some good touches to be given more game time.
He could be the Jimmy Lowes that comes back to haunt us further down the line.

This could be true, but the thing is we don't know what he's like in training, what his attitude's like, how his form and fitness have been etc. I'm not suggesting that there are any issues, I've heard no rumours and have no inside knowledge. I'm just saying that there is more to a player's involvement at the club than simply turning up on the pitch.

I certainly haven't seen anything to suggest that he's the next Jimmy Lowes. You never know though, I suppose. Looks like he could develop into a good player, but either way I'd rather trust the judgement of those who are seeing him at work every day.

Isn't McShane tied into a rather lengthy contract? Magnificent 7 all over again then? Lunt to be made longer term?

Indeed. How many tattoos has he got and which mobile phone is he after?

This season's Luke Burgess perhaps.

I guess it also depends on getting Shaun Lunt permanently? Not suprised they aren't prepared to release him immediately.

Which in turn depends on whether Hudds want a fee. I would imagine they would, although it might depend on whether they're known to be keen to free up the cap space.

Think it was Tad who suggested his face doesn't fit. We mere unimportant fans are obviously not been told the whole truth.

Either way the club needs to hope Dewsbury can get Hood up to a better standard pretty quickly (although I think in his last match for the rams he actually played LF - useful :? :( )

Luckily fans in general, and you in particular, are not responsible for player recruitment and retention or selecting the matchday squad. There are a litany of very, very good reasons for this. Why would you expect to be told the details of employer/employee relationships? It isn't really any of our business.

"Face doesn't fit" is a common chip-on-shoulder whinge. One might ask why a person's face doesn't fit.

I only assumed his face didn't fit. For whatever reason its obvious BD doesn't rate him
