Was planning on sticking with HTC when my upgrade was due (next month). The One X is like carrying a house brick around, the One S doesn't have a SD slot. Thinking it's gonna have to see what the S3 brings.

They are quite big though.

ive had a dell streak for the past couple of years and could never go back to a small screen. My wife has a 4s and the screen is puny.

Quite? Massive step up from the Desire!

But I suppose massive screens are the way things are going.

Ready for a new phone and been looking at the Galaxy Note. What are they like.
Had an HTC wildfire before and although never had a problem with it i fancy a change from HTC, and the galaxy range seem to be getting good reviews.

never heard of that company before so just checked their website out.

their phone plans seem like cracking value, do they just work on a rolling contract month-to-month basis?

my contract is up in a couple of months, definitely going to be breaking out of the stone age and getting internet as part of my next one if i decide to go down that route again.

any recommendations for new handsets? i don't exactly keep up to date with the changing world of mobile phone technology, only time i tend to pay attention is when my mates show me their new ones when they have upgraded.

i'm after something fairly decent, but don't really want pay more than £25 per-month.

Doesn't giff gaff use O2's network? Shocking coverage on O2 in the North of England, the worst of all the networks in the UK by miles.

Is that all the time or more recently Sad lad? My mate said a mast has fallen down or something so reception is notably worse at the moment.

It's pay as you go. I just buy a £10 'goody bag' every month and get unlimited data and texts with 250 minutes - more than enough for me.

It is SIM only so you have to provide your own phone. If you're happy with your current phone, as I have been for the last few years, that shouldn't be a problem. If you do want a new phone then I'd recommend doing the maths to compare the total cost of an expensive contract with a "free" phone to the cost of buying the phone yourself and paying less each month.
