Ruptured spleen
This sounds really serious. For the internet doctors on here, how bad is this?
What sort of synopsis of recovery is there? Depending on the severity of the tear and RL being a contact sport and all that, will JC be able to play again?

All the best
x

It's a serious injury in the fact that the poor lad has suffered the rupture and internal bleeding, although - The spleen can be removed easily and people can live happy lives whilst still playing professional Rugby League.

Coxy should be alright.

HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again

Sounds like he's on the mend:

He needs to stop socialising with former players though:
