Why on earth would we benefit from signing him? Keep Nas if possible - he's looking the business.
I'd only consider signing some over-the-hill marquee player if that brought a shedload of external money into the club. And, other than Sir Steve Menzies, our recent track record in recruiting marquee players is not that encouraging?

No thanks. I think Manuokafoa has performed well for us and will be commanding a fair bit less than Asotasi in wages. It would be pretty daft to bring someone else in and take a gamble on him not settling in this country (see Orford/McKinnon).

Potter has really done the business this season with his o/s signings. It's always risky signing someone from overseas, they may take a while to get going or even end up cutting their stay short like McKinnon, but all 3 of ours have hit the ground running and look to be top quality players. I had my doubts about Purtell but he has been solid, didn't really know too much about Nas but he is now a guaranteed spot in the 17, and Lulia has been just as awesome as I had hoped, if not more so!

Manuokafoa has the potential to be the best prop in this league. Asotasi, not heard good write ups about him for a while. Plus Manuokafoa is playing out of his skin and at the moment is leading the chase for the last quota spot.
