Played Crazy Golf a couple of weeks ago, destroyed Ms. Terrorist, no room for sentiment in that game.
Best ever Crazy Golf course was the one at Hornsea Pottery where if you rang the bell in the windmill on the last hole you got a free round.
And they had a talking Minor Bird. Crushed a wasp that landed on my ice cream when I was about three, learned that they sting that day.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I adopt a similar mentality when I play Gator Golf with my son. I wipe the floor with him every time - he doesn't even get close. Then I do that 'L' thing with my fingers near my forehead to prove that, not only am I awesome at Gator Golf, but I'm really cool as well.

Yes but they cheated because the sails went round really fast. I don't remember that minor bird saying much - not as much as the one in Penny's down Ella Street.

I don't know what Gator golf is but I'm glad to see you relentlessly besting your son.
Character building.
When I got called up to Hull Schools RL team my Dad's idea, as a sixteen stone bloke was to teach me how to tackle people by running over me like steam roller.

That hedgehog is just taunting me by rustling in the bushes.
Why doesn't it come out so I can peck the nice person?
A fox would be a rubbish pet, is a rubbish pet, kept trying to kill me.

You live in the countryside. When I lived in the wilds I never saw foxes, I lived inner city for a while, saw loads, back in the wilds, see none.
Foxes aren't the nicest of creatures really, although I do like the way they annoy the upper classes. When I had a farm job I always enjoyed being able to annoy the local land owner by not allowing his hunt on our land.
