Maybe not even the jersey and just a few stage wins. I think there ares only 3 possible races cab can win before he'll either retire or finish outside the time. It'll also be a runout to practice lead outs pre tdf. Though rumours are that the romandie group will be the same for tdf plus 1 extra. Same with the climbrrs. Uran has been in so so form so he and haeno will be targeting stages rather than GC.

Cav needs a good Giro i.e. win the sprints that are there to be won. Dissapointing last few months, maybe understandable considering the birth of his daughter and the rest of the peloton riding to destroy him.

Well he had a good win yesterday. Sky rode it well all day. G got him up out of trouble meaning he missed theo Bos clipping Renshaws wheel and crashing the rest of the sprinters. He then powered himself up past Thor and the rest and held them off for a good 250 metres.
Is that what you were hoping for?

It certainly was what I was hoping for on stage 2. Best sprinter by a mile - avoided the trouble thanks to Geraint Thomas.
Stage 3 on the other hand........no. He may well have still won the sprint (we'll never know) but I didn't like where he found himself in the bunch. Bad luck with an appallingly reckless move by Ferrari.

I'm more into MTB than road, will watch road racing on telly all day, but my road bike is trying to kill me so fell out with it.
got my mtb through cycle to work, so have had to make do with Royal mails £500 limit and Halfords, got a Voodoo Hoodoo, spec is decent for a 500 quid bike just need to get out on the trails on it now to test it out!

Did I see you had commented on Road.cc's article about Ferrari bringing Cav and Phinney down?

Another win for Cav, is it safe to put him into the bracket of all time great sprinters (Cippolini, Zabel et al), if not at the top? He may not have his fans given his outspoken views and aggressive technique but the stats don't lie and given his age, maybe another 3-4 years at the top?
I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.
