Not as many as penalties I've seen J Hodgson needlessly give away. The amount of times he reefed the ball in a two or more man tackle on Friday was appalling, does he think he plays for Wigan?

You'd really enjoy it, we always start of with a game of pass the parcel, although the parcel never really gets passed around & at the end we give everyone a hug which can take a while as we often miss each other.

 Very good. :D

we are not yet at the standard of saints with regard offloading. you often see our front rowers promoting the ball and the only option is withers (if he has made his way to the tackle). you can't expect to offload on every play. i for one would be vexed off if we did because our completion rate can be bad enough as it is.

HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again

Not saying we should do it every play, or once every set of six, that would just be plain stupid and extremely predictable, what I'm saying is, he has the capability to do it, we know that, many people complained last season that we weren't offloading at all yet its a big part of Watts' game, he can drive and offload, something we've missed since (dare I say it!) Michael Smith, so it's nice to see him do it a few times during a game, as he did when he first came into the first team.

7 offloads in 8 games prior to Friday's game, compared to 8 in 18 appearances last year. I reckon he's got his offload back, maybe he's just doing what he's told?

I think Watts is playing well, it's the errors and penalties, where does he stand on them in relation to last year, Stan?

Watts- giving more penalties away and making less tackles (but missing the same amount) that in my book suggests not putting enough effort in, in the middle.
so the panel took the same view as your excellent assessment.
Looks like he's well on the way to match his stats, can't see what all the fuss is about, if anything he's carried on as he left off.

In just over half the games the stats are close to half what they were.

I get the feeling a lot of players will be let go at the end of the season and Sandercock allowed to build his own team rather then the one he's inherited, thus a top 8 finish this year I think would class as a decent result and really lay the foundations down for next year. I think we have a few core quality players, Dobson, Green and maybe a few others that I would build the team around but theres a lot of players I can't see being kept.
