I'll get slated as usual but my choice would be

Clinton = On big money allegedly and not offering enough on the pitch.
Latus = Simply not good enough and has never really looked good enough to make an impact.
Netherton = Defence appears more solid when he's on the pitch but surely we can buy a player of similar defending ilk who poses a threat going forward.
Hall = Far too inconsistent surely we want a player who'll play to a decent standard ever week.
Watts = Gives far to many penalties away and half the time looks disinterested and lazy.

Wheeldon = Already gone but he'd have being here if he'd had still being at the club.
cant disagree with any of that, i would add

Webster = Always injured, never looked the powerful runner he can e since his first season. also alegedly on big money

Watts is only giving 1 penalty away per game.

It's a shame both he and Welham are out of form, I expected both to push on after their England call ups.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Never say never. Welham could well go on to represent his country, but to do that he will need to either:
(a) find a new country, or
(b) find a new sport.

This obsession with removing Clinton is getting a bit too much, the pack lacked experience last night and when him and O'Hara came on, it looked stronger, Paea doesn't do enough/isn't allowed to do enough and along with Mika are getting shown up in defence, if the talk is replacing Clinton with Lopini Paea, I fear it wouldn't make too much of a difference, the difference would be to obviously ADD L.Paea with Clinton.

Welham and Dobson's defence were criminal last night.

There's never a good time to judge - it's all doom after an away defeat at Wigan, but we (myself included) will be dishing out hypothetical contracts right, left and centre if we get a good win against Cas at home. Binary, innit?

Being positive, we've consolidated as a mid-ranking SL team. Or stagnated, if you want to be unkind.

Anyway, from our ooc senior players (and all subject to change on a whim off one good/poor performance).

McDonnell (non-fed) - Keep, probably. I can't see us getting a better fed-trained fullback and he could always cover the wings, if Sheriff steps up. On the other hand, far from irreplaceable with the non-fed spot he'd free up.
Hall - Keep. We've not got loads of depth in the backs and he's versatile and being lercal presumably not too expensive.
Webster (quota) - Release with good wishes. His quota spot isn't much use by itself, but I suspect we could use his salary better elsewhere. He can tackle, mind you. If money wasn't an issue, I'd keep him ahead of Hall.
Clinton (quota and non-fed) - Release. Not our worst player, but possibly offers poorest value.
Galea (quota) - wait and see. Although I'm tending towards renewal this morning and he'll be 34? next year, again the quota spot isn't much use by itself. It'd be nice to think Cox isn't too far away from being able to hold down a spot, but he's not been in the last couple of squads iirc.
Watts/Lovegrove/Murrell (all club-trained) - Keep at least 2, or you start to eat into the depth of the squad. Watts has loads of potential, but his development has been uneven, and he needs to start showing more consistent signs that he's going to fulfil it. Murrell can cover some pivotal positions and Lovegrove has played everywhere except 1, 7 and 9.

Saved a certain try last night by tackling Gelling into touch.

surely that tackle has to be considered just a formality, for Hall to allow Gelling in there would have been criminal

Strange, Briscoe was deemed the best winger in the world by FC fans following the same tackle on Fox.

I agree though, Hall is crap as is Briscoe.

Hardly the same. Briscoe ran the width of the pitch to make that tackle. His anticipation and reaction was why that tackle was so great.

Hall's tackle was good, though.

I'd stick to analysing Leeds, love.
