They confirm what most say on here, lazy & useless, how on earth he was allegedly one of the highest paid forwards in the NRL is beyond me

For the record. This is now the 5th time you have failed to answer my one question in a sensible and mature manner. Instead you have responded with petty childish abuse towards myself. In the form of suggesting I have a mental age of a 5 year old. The irony is rather amusing.

Also, let's be clear. I don't believe I have ever requested that the poetry thread be reopened/reinstated or any other. Suggesting I want my own way and throwing a temper tantrum, is clearly incorrect on your behalf. The only 'tantrum' I have thrown, is asking for a clear and explained reason why my last poem, forced the closure of the thread. I'm yet to hear this.

I don't really give two freps about the poetry thread being closed, despite strangely enjoying it whilst it was live.
What I do take umbrage against, is my last poem was cited as one of the two reasons why.

Anyway, I've made my pitch. Feel free to reply in a mature way and we can draw a line under the matter.
Or just go for number 6.
Yes it obviously had nothing what ever to do with WiH.
As long as you discount this.

I've already explained the motive/inspiration for the piece here
☺East-Sard☺ wrote:Let's got one thing straight here.
My last 'play on words' was about a sparrow hawk, hunting it's name sake a simple sparrow.
It was in the 1st person (the sparrow hawk).
I used Worm's avatar as the inspiration behind the poem.
The photo should have left no doubt about what the poem was about

Here's the full breakdown for you

Homage to Wormhole (mark of respect to Worm's poem, acknowledgement of no animosity too)

Tomorrow’s Worm

I lurk in the shadow (Shadow = Dark place, in this case the clouds, see pic)
Cos' I'm hollow (Empty = Hungry)

Occasionally mellow (Not always a killer)
I'm no nice fellow (see line above)

Sharp as an arrow (Talons = sharp as an arrow)
I feel no sorrow (Animal kingdom / food chain / it's what a bird of prey does)

Bast hard and mean (direct play on words from Worm's poem)
Is my cuisine (in keeping with the theme of previous lines)

For every sparrow (Sparrow - this case worm's pic)
There is its hawk (Sparrow hawk - the first person in this poem)

When I do stalk (Hawk hunts sparrow)
You will squawk (Hawk gets sparrow)

Do not wallow (self explanatory)
My little sparrow
They’ll be another worm tomorrow (the cycle repeats / the circle of life, if you like)
(note. I've no idea if sparrows actually go after worms)
__________________________________________________________________
Picture was used to make sure nothing was lost in translation

Image
You will note that there are two birds in this pic. Worm's avatar thing, that I've used as the sparrow.
In the tree, you will see the sparrow hawk.
The rest is in keeping with the atmosphere of the poem.

What on earth has any of this got to do with Moobs Clinton..

You do realize now that you will not be able to interupt threads and claim they have drifted or you will look like a hypocrite.

Comparing him against (arguably) the best prop in the competition, is a little harsh.
How does he compare against the fellow props at Rovers? Taylor/Paea/Watts/Netherton/Wheeldon* - hard to compare against Lovegrove, considering he's played all over the place and only recently at prop.
