I've uploaded your bio to that 'cougar shag' thing Betty. You'll go well on there I reckon.

Oh, with that said, I just remembered, my Littmann Classic II S.E came today, it's got my name engraved on it! I can't wait to show you. Dad won't let me listen to his heart.

Joel Clinton
Wears a splint on
His back
Feeling poorly?
But surely
Lazy, not cack.
All we'll remember
Come September
Was his rack.

Not surprised after the bruises you caused your lot practicing taking their pulses that time  ...Your stethoscope probably put the fear of god into them!

4/10.

Couldn't you find anything to rhyme with "highest paid forward at Brisbane Broncos"?

WormInHand wrote:It was locked because of a friendly argument between me and East Turd, with a couple of apt poems and a rather splendid drawing from him. I wasn't offended - I was enjoying it - and I'm sure he felt the same.

Darthwall seemed to find animosity in it and spoilt the fun.

Seeing as a mod has enquired I guess I can reply in good faith, without intentionally breaking the AUP n all that jazz

Did it all end well, without upset or fractiousness? No, it got locked. This caused upset and fractiousness among many of the contributors on the thread. The background to this was ...

Anakin Skywalker locked the previous poetry thread, I believe as he thought it was heading towards animosity between myself and Worm Hole. "East-Sard and Wormy started at that point it was only headed in one direction.
Both will deny it though
".

Once it starts it doesn't stop. Some folks think logging onto RLfans is a reason to act like a 5 year old.
They then confirm it by throwing a tantrum when someone tells them they can't.

This is fair enough. However the reason(s) given didn't match the evidence in the thread.

The two poems (I assume) in question were hardly abusive and just a little play on words to one another. Hell, my poem was clearly about a sparrow hawk hunting a sparrow. I informed him of this and the reply I got > "Yeah alright then" . The fact he finds it funny, came across very condescending. The thread was locked within 4 minutes after my last post on the thread, with the remarks - "took longer than I though actually.". From this it's natural to assume that this thread was always going to be locked regardless of the tone within it.

I believe the popularity of the poetry thread was a reason behind it's closure. As a direct show of force to the OP or one or more of the posters within that thread

In closing, the only upset and animosity came after the thread was locked.
