Heard from an ex player that we are set to offer him a contract. This is purely what i have heard, and wondered if anyone else has. Same person also told me we offered Gareth Ellis 20k more on his contract than F.C did.

And he still wouldn't touch you with a bargepole!
Good luck with the Willie offer. It's not like he'd have have anything concrete lined up with anyone else before making the most difficult professional decision of his life...

What stops his concrete slab that's lined up being across the city? Nothing.

Hardly likely to, he will be getting well in excess of half a million from Hull and no one else was that daft. No cash left for Manu after that, think it's going to be another Sean Long scenario, other clubs get the best then along come Hull with their pension offer for the over 30's.
Ellis has already picked up a long term injury, he won't be too bothered about that now.

Hope it's true, I've got 4 'big willie' flags.
No, no, Edith. Suttonrobin clearly states that Rovers have offered nothing yet, thereby assuming Willie to have taken a dive into the unknown abyss. Best keep the Willie flags furled for now.
