Instead of a statue - which certainly arnt in the plans with the new build, each tower as got a big poster design on it; maybe one on these could be a big one of the dodger in his heydays and just red tint the black and white rustic pic. Would tie in nicely then and would look very good.

Might be a nice idea to throw an open challenge (get a sponsor for a cash prize) to local artists to come up with a painting/muriel with our past greats on it to grace the entrance.

Arsenal have done this @ the Emirates.

I think something similar of our past/current greats would look proper bo on the back of the RM stand.

Benefits
❶ You could see it from the flyover
❷ Not just locals but foreigners on their way to York too
❸ There's ample space to do something good on the back of the RM Stand
❹ If done right, it would look proper bo

Would improve upon the grey painted iron.

Why are Arsenal doing the Poznan? Perhaps it was invented in 1971 and the Poles have nicked it?

Anti Troll Deterrent
Arsenal also did this (before some smart Arsenal know it all comments)

Opportunity for the Mason cardboard cut outs, perhaps?

i,m sure the cost would run into thousands possibly not worth it when one of the selling points you suggest is for German and Dutch pensioners to get a sighting from about 600 metres.

There is no selling point for the proposal - more to decorate the exterior of RM stand from the current bland/dated looking one. It's also a follow up to the suggestion that our proposed red towers should have some sort of club branding in the form of previous players (as in Roger). I was pointing out what Arsenal had done and the back of the RM stand may be a better option than that of a tower. The fact you could perhaps see this from the flyover would be a benefit of the proposed scheme. I've no idea what the outlay would be and doubt very much it would go ahead in any event. But it would look good tho' - in this writer's opinion.
