He must have borrowed it from Sir Alex at half time

It's just a shame the players couldn't put in the same effort in the 1st half, we need to build on that 2nd half now and push on in the league.
Great to see Blake Green back today, I thought Galea still looked rusty but got through a lot of work.

I honestly can't remember a game with that many bombs in it for ages. :)

Wouldn't say that there was a lack of effort 1st half.
Composure and completion was lacking.
That wind was incredibly strong and was hard for both sides to contend with.

thought the wind evened the game out over the 80 mins... was just perplexed at the lack of effort in defence, especially for the pryce tries. Its not as if he is an unknown quantity..

but proud of the way they fought back.... and was just a shame Dobbo never had his kicking boots on..

I think that sandercock needs to understand the enthusiasm factor and the difference it makes to us as a team and in fairness most rugby teams. On Monday it was the introduction of Dave Petersen that added it and today starting with both Murrell and Josh Hodgson on the bench bent it was lacking from the off.
Some players bring a natural excuberence to the game and these players are critical to the make up of our side. This type of player tend to be big talkers as well which is a hugely important trait in any rugby side.

Once we get the balance of personnel right, I still think that we have the makings of a descent side
Personnaly I would look to start Mika from the bench and murrell at 13 from the off.

That comment is wasted on here Mart but valid non the less! :D

I think in the NRL individual exuberence is not as important as SL but over here it can be a game changer.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...

Descent side? Well we certainly appear to be heading downhill. :)

Agree about Murrell. We need him on the field for 80 minutes at 13.

Murrell brings enthusiasm to the team, imo he's been one of our best players this season, I thought Rhys Lovegrove was great today too, very strong carries.

Does sandercock seem the type to bawl his players out? Can't see it myself. Seems far more methodical in his approach.

Most of the coaches seem quiet & methodical these days.

Anyone remember Alex Murphy on scrumdown after Rovers kids won at Wigan? Now that was a hair dryer

From what I have heard he speaks his mind and doesn't mind upsetting one or two. Not great confidence booster kind of coach but as said a tad methodical but quite cutting in his approach.

We're coming to make some noise!
