I know he gave rovers a million to spend on what they wanted, anyone think it might be a good idea to try and get him to buy rovers? With some teams in super league I.e Warrington and fc with wealthy backers and able to pay high salaries this is what could be the missing link for rovers to move into the top 4? Plus he seems to be good friends with hudgell.

I'd wager Allam doesn't have nearly half the money people imagine he has. Net worth, yes - but given the millions he's put into City and their need to sell before they buy - hardly suggests he's sitting on a few 10s of millions.

I respect that he and our chairman have a good relationship and that he's 'invested' a million sterlings into the club in some way shape or form. However, personally I wouldn't want him anywhere near running our club.

High salaries? Theres a cap for a reason- i hope we stick to it as i dont want our club going backwards and ending up like the bulls.

Got to agree with lifelong on this one. Daft.

And why does everyone think pearson is loaded, hes got money but not loaded. Pearson is an astute business man and will only venture into something he knows he can make money from- no1 will make money from rovers for a fair few years at least so we need a fan who loves the club like hudge whos willing to part with his cash. Only people i know like that are the healeys but there hullcitys silent money men so not sure if theres anyone out there.

Pearson will not be shoving silly cash into FC, I doubt he has got it.
