If you knew players wernt up for the game would you keep them?

Somethings come up that makes me wonder if certain people want to even play rugby never mind just at HKR.

What is your stance on this as a fan?
And what would you do as a coach to change it around?

Would you care to elaborate on what has come up? Would be a little easier to make a judgement then.

If they're still producing decent performances despite not been up for playing fair enough, (I don't exactly like my job either). If it's having an adverse effect on how they play get rid asap.

Lets just say this; if a player says hes "injured" when really he isnt and everyone knows it. Its having an adverse effect on other members of the playing squad aswell as his own performances.

Not sure how you can get rid if they are under contract... even if it is only til the end of the season.

Does that mean it's the same player that was accused of this last season?

Not sure who was accused of it last last season so i couldnt possibly say. PM me the name and then i could - i dont want to brand certain names on here as MR might whip me.

But the person who it is and been told by the physio to get up and carry on theres nothing wrong with you on more then 1 occasion and numerous other things.

If it was true then i would expect the coach to take action against him. Given that he is getting picked every week we can only assume that it is a load of rubbish at this stage..

Ahh but if said person was sucking the right plums and then just playing again it would suggest Sandy is all hes cracked upto be aswell.

From what ive been told - and people that know me will know who my source is, said player has done his knee and ankle ligaments (so he claimed) only to be told to get up your fine. Hes gone off in to games "injured" only to come into training on the monday to say hes fit to play at the weekend. (that should tell most who it is)
The final nail was he went off injured, went into changing rooms... someone was told to go get him to warm back up to go back on only to find him fully changed ready to leave. The players are fuming and yet sandy as player him each time - so i only hope he doesnt play against Cats and is told to buck up.

Read it on t'other forum. Doesn't really ring true for me, fwiw. If somebody is swinging the lead, why the rapid recovery?

Yes. But given that specific accusations of malingering are being made, I'm nervous enough even without a name. MR.
