Can someone teach me how to do long division please, I'm Edit-Tut Tut-AS at that.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

Is long division the one where you get remainders?

'been' is the perfect case of the verb 'to be' as in 'He has been rumoured to be back for the London game'. This sentence is in the past tense - it has happened.

'being' is the continuous case of the verb 'to be' as in 'He is being rumoured to be back for the London game'. This sentence is in the present tense and is happening now.

As a general rule an 'ing' finish means that the verb is continuous.

'has being' does not make sense.

Thanks.

Well that was 6 pages of my life I'll never get back. Still not a lot wiser regarding next seasons recruiting, but my grammer should come on leaps and bounds.
