Listen Mrs, this week will got directly to type for the following reasons:

1. Having seen Rovers struggle past a poor Salford side, I got home to watch Catalans tear Wire a new one. We should not be in the same league as them such was the gulf. So, banker away win.
2. Given that almost all their players qualify to play for the national team, CS can play his "team full of internationals" card without fear of contradiction.
3. Bentham is ref - according to most on t'other forum, he's got a downer on Rovers, so we have no chance of even competing.

If it wasn't such an attractive price, I'd doubt anyone would turn up for this non-event.

Very good Stanley. Was thinking about the now-familiar "internationals" card potentially being played myself. I read also some time ago on the other forum that Bentham is a Hull FC fan, no less. He's from Leigh, so it must be true.

I watched the Catalans v Wire game. If Catalans repeat that completion rate at Fortress MS3CP, Rovers have a great chance.

I think Bentham is the best SL ref.

Always feel like we've dodged a bullet if we avoid Thaler and Child.

I have no problem at all with Bentham.

I reserve the right to retract this statement on Sunday evening.

I dont think CS should be ringing Tony Smith for any useful tips. And for what its worth Smith is a bigger whinger than your guy.

Thaler & Bentham are my most feared referees - mainly when we're playing away to one of the big 5 (Wire/Wigan/Leeds/Hudds/Saints) admittedly tho. I think we'll give em a game. Catalans are pretty much very hot or average with the occasional 5-10min of French flair. Keep them as quiet as possible and look after possession, who knows.

Smith's earned the right to whinge via the trophy cabinet.

I love Cup rugby, you just never know, some serious improvement needed from you lot to compete though, very rarely do you see a team rip Wire apart like Cats did on Monday it was a good spectacle.

Mrs Barista wrote:Time to get this back on topic, with a timely cup boost for the Robins with the return of Green. And, get this, naming him in the derby squad, says the HDM, was "a bit of gamesmanship". Such jolly japes!

Sandercock working on his moaning technique. This started well:
Asked if he thought Green would need a week or two to get back up to the speed of Super League, Sandercock said: "No, not Blake. He's trained the house down and he'll be ready to go. Steady, man, that's almost joyous

"I'm happy to have our number one half-back combination back in the team. Any side is the same. Not bad, quite chipper

"If you take one of your halves out it impacts on your game. It has hurt us and it's good to have him back." Bit whingey this, but ends OK

Think he ran out of upbeat steam in the last quarter of the interview though with his final comment.

"I'd like to have a full squad to select from because Catalan have their full squad back," he added. So close. Damn those Catalans. Bit of a bleat there, Craig. Something to work on in training.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Are you moaning about our coach, not moaning, or moaning about our coach actually moaning? I'm confused.

I like the traffic light system, green for happy, red for moaning.
