You are very condescending.

A couple of comments on an opinion site is hardly 'the good people of Hull' though is it?
There are crap/run down parts of most big cities. That doesn't mean that the rest of it should be condemned. Or written off for that matter.
Besides in a few thousand years Hull will be part of the North Sea. Why worry?

Where do you live by the way?

So, you are now suggesting that there will be a period in time when Hull FC might be the most famous RL team in the city of Kingston-upon-Hull? That is difficult to imagine.

They already are without the incursion of the waves.
They were top of the Superleague momentarily yesterday. :)

I thought I was the one you quoted / linked to facts?

Now, isn't it your bedtime?
So after your 'facts' are made to look like swiss cheese you rely on hearsay to back you up.

Who's bedtime is it again?

If that is what you rest cases on thank god you wont be defending anyone in court.

Good God, man, where is your dignity? You try to back up your erroneous conclusions with selective and inappropriate use of government statistics, then, when this folly is exposed, you link to a widely-discredited opinion site as though this constitutes evidence. Very poor, even by your own rather low standards.

Until now, I thought Dallington had hit rock bottom when fighting with homosexuals.

Just goes to show what people can achieve when they really put their mind (snigger) to it.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

I suppose I should thank him.
He has made our derby walloping feel not so bad afterall as I am thankful that I am not Dally.

Missed this whilst having fun on our own board.

Sorry Dally.

One of the main problems that Hull suffers is that a large percentage of the educated people brought up in the city, don't tend to stay there.

I myself left for uni and didn't move back afterwards. Plenty of my school friends are now living in Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle.

These people, who could have moved back to Hull to teach, to start up businesses, raise their families etc, are doing so elsewhere.

Unfortunately it's a vicious circle. The job prospects and the overall lifestlye are more attractive elsewhere.
