I'm not certain that's true though. It appears to me that Galloway has, once again, very successfully appealed to a single group on a very narrow range of issues of particular resonance with that group.

I might agree with you if he hadn't so easily topped the poll in every ward in the constituency. This fact simply doesn't bear out the idea that Galloway only struck a chord with the Asian population.
The predominantly white middle-class ward of Clayton for example gave 900 votes to Galloway and just 40 to Labour.

Recent polls suggest that over 70% of the population are against the war in Afghanistan, whilst it is becoming more obvious to everyone that labours 'austerity-lite' message carries virtually no resonance.

And I should apologise for my initial response to this not including the words 'thank you', even if I didn't think it required any.

In the block of text you quoted I specifically said I do not see it as anything of the kind, and I certainly did not say I see it everywhere I look. That's so 180 degrees out of phase with anything I have said that I'm starting to wonder if you're reading my posts at all.

My point, if you had bothered to look for it, was that every society is segregated.

All I can tell is that Galloway believes in the Zionist conspiracy rubbish and that as an MP he's likely to barely ever turn up in Parliament.

1. Which 'Zionist conspiracy' would that be then.

2. Galloway's attendance in parliament actually stands up to most. He certainly speaks in Parliament as much as most backbenchers. His attendance at votes is very poor...but then he can only choose between Government or opposition motions/amendments, both of which he often disagrees with...would you rather he voted for the hell of it, regardless of his own views?

Perhaps, it comes down to you inability to write concisely and clearly?
