I think we upgraded about four years ago, the previous ones were responsible for the excellent called off Leigh game in about 2003 where we were getting humped, the floodlights failed and the game was called off. We then beat them in the rescheduled game, much to the chagrin of the Leythers.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Our new development appears to include two new floodlights.
Poster from t'other board reckons we'll have new floodlights by the time we play our SL game against Catalans (24/6).

I think we paid around £250k for our current floodlights (2008).
Apart from our infamous Sky game when one pylon, went on the brink for 20 mins, they're ok. Better than some, worse than others.

You may well be right on that, the quote for the electrical work was revised to include new floodlights.
