One of your best posts there divoz, never thought I'd say it but I agree with all of that.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I'm not going with all this "we can beat anyone on our day" shizzle.

Huddersfield has us beaten and then imploded, we lured them in with our utter crapness.

Hull by plenty.

I'm not expecting a win, Hull are on a roll, turning over anyone who gets in there way, with timely injury returns to boost them further (Yeaman/Mckinnon) whereas were just pants. Our super pack is naff, with no staying power, Hull are 2nd because they've beat all the big boys and were still pants. :( :)

Derbies are always difficult to call, historically form goes out of the window..

Out of our 2 games though I imagine it will be easier to get 2 points from the derby than a visit to Hudds, so hopefully we will maintain our form.

Hull look much improved. Aside from ourselves the 4 teams they have not played yet are Wigan, Hudds, Leeds and Catalans. So the exact extent of the improvement is still open to question. That doesn't mean they won't answer any doubts strongly - we just don't know yet. On the one hand you can only beat what is in front of you, and they have been doing that. On the other I know some Hull fans believe that results have been slightly better than performances, and their squad is being stretched for the first time this year. 6-1-1; unless they have a slump, they should make top 6 from here - winning 9 or 10 of there last 19 would be good enough 5th/6th most likely.
We've shown the odd flicker, but have been more Hyde than Jeckyll. 3-1-5 - I'd take 8th right now, in a heartbeat. More because it'd mean the ship had been steadied, that for the slim chance of reaching the GF. We could really do with a win over Easter, in either fixture tbh. That'd be a proper timely boost.

I'll take a draw now tbh. Our very thin squad of forwards is being stretched (not bad luck btw, more bad planning/recruitment). Absentees like O'Meley and Moa are not something that we can cover and this will be our downfall which will see us gradually slipping to a more realistic SL position.

As for Friday, If your pack gets on a roll, you could win by a lot. If our very much improved defence can keep on top, your side could "fall away" late in the game.

I personally fear the worst but I always do.

THANK YOU Mr. PEARSON, FOR RIDDING US OF FCKWIT FUBAR, CEO TOOL AND THE STINKING UNCLE KATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY DON'T THE DOBBINS PLAY IN GREEN SHIRT, GREEN SHORTS AND GREEN SOCKS IN ORDER TO EXPRESS THEIR INFINITE ENVY OF EVERYTHING BLACK AND WHITE??

KR by 10-16 pack too big and strong.

FC young bench hits the wall due to second game syndrome.
