I did like Peter Sharp's season long excuse that they finished 11th because they didn't play enough friendles, I also quite liked a few Rovers fans explanation of why we didn't get promoted in Morgan's first year, because he only understood 'french rugby.'

Best one for me was in the 90's when Rovers blamed fumes on the team coach for losing away!! :lol:
