My dog found an iPhone yesterday, it appears to be on the 3 network. Is there any way I could call them to see if they can locate the owner. I suppose there is some kind of serial number that is unique to the phone. I feel bad that someone has lost it, they're pretty expensive so I'd like them to have it back.

If it's on a contract of course they could. But the Data Protection act would probably prevent them from legally helping you. A better bet, providing it's not broken, is to turn it on and ring someone obvious, like "Mum" or "Uncle Tony" and tell them your ransom.
It has a password on it, so i couldn't access the contacts. I called 3 and gave them the imei number and they put me through to the owners landline. All worked out pretty well in the end. Hopefully they'll buy me few beers for being a good person.

Surprised at that, they probably can't legally do that. But who cares eh, if your good deed for the day is done.
They just came to pick it up. Gave me a bottle of scotch to say thanks and a couple of bags of dog treats for my boy for sniffing it out. Good deed done, like you say mate. I lost my wallet a few months back and someone handed it in, so I suppose it was my turn to repay the good deed to someone else.
More than enough if it's just casual. Emails, Facebook, bit of web etc. Depends on your view of decent. It's an entry level Android probably. Does pretty much everything you need and more, but not as well as the top end stuff

You should have gone on Mazuma - made £300 and then that would buy lots of Scotch, Dog treats, and a new wallet to erase the bad memories of momentarily losing yours
I'm sure this must have been asked before, but does anyone have any recommendations for a good RL news/scores related app for current Android versions?
It'd be nice if it included Championship level RL too!
God is nothing more than an imaginary friend for grown ups.
