So has anyone finished Mass Effect 3? Thoughts?
I'm about 20 hours in and have enjoyed it. There're a couple of annoying aspects to it like the journal and the fact that half the side quests you come accross can't be solved straight away so sometimes I'll find something that I need to complete a quest later in the game and can't remember who gave me the quest in the first place.

99% of the game is amazing. Some really great story lines, wrapping some stuff up. Then the ending happens, and it is like been kicked in the gut. One of the worst endings ever. Rest of the game is great though.

Have a look at the video "Mass Effect 3 Indoctrination Theory" on the video sharing website. It explains quite a lot about the ME3 ending and some of it actually makes quite a bit of sense.

Quite buggy in places too, especially in one of the missions which made me not able to interact with one of my favourite characters from ME2.
Started ME3 yesterday... it seems decent enough. Do you know what i hate though, and perhaps it's slightly picky, weapon mods just conveniently placed around buildings for you to pick up. It's like being in a large food-processing factory and in the corner of a room there's a sniper rifle silencer. Why? What possible reason could there be for that? The reason you have in-game credits is to buy things.

It's always been part of ME that didn't make sense: You're a major hero out to save the universe. You have the best ship around. But you have to scrape around for credits to upgrade hand guns.

More dumbing-down to appeal to the non-RPG'ers i suppose. I'm starting to agree with my Mrs (but don't tell her) that pick-up-and-play instashooters like COD have destroyed most of the gaming market.

I'd agree to a point. I'd say it was more to do with EA being a bunch of greedy pr1cks just out to make as much money out of people as possible at the expense of quality.
