Would this have even made it on here if it was a Labour MP doing the same thing, and if so, would ALL Labour MPs be subsequently branded dodgy?

The bias on here absolutely astounds me at times.

Ey up, the tories favourite little provincial apologist pops up.

If this was one 'rogue' tory, then whoever appointed him to the position of joint treasurer needs sacking. To give him such a high-profile job without clearly explaining the requirements is unforgiveable. However, I don't believe that's what happened, nor do I believe Cruddas's explanation that his "bluster" went too far. That wasn't bluster, that was clear instruction on the features and benefits, at each level of becoming a donor. A man who has self-made a fortune amnounting to just short of £1bn, doesn't have to bluster.

He got caught, the tory machine got caught and Camerons has been caught in the headlights now.

I didn't realise the person who appoints such people needs to have a crystal ball. You know as well as I do that someone can have a squeaky clean (though I'm not suggesting Cruddas is squeaky clean of course) can let you down in the future. I've employed enough people in the past to know that, and if you're to be believed, so have you.

But hey - lets not let that get in the way of a good anti-tory dig, eh?

Let's not.

Every and any time that they fook up, I take great pleasure in pointing it out and won't stop doing so more people realise that they've never changed. They may have put on a new party frock but underneath all the petticoats and frills, they're still the same. Still looking at every opportunity to make a buck for themselves and their mates, usually on the backs of the poorest and most vulnerable.

Remember what Cameron's job was before entering mainstream politics: he was a spin doctor and all he is doing now is yet more spinning. He must be reeling like a drunk at the end of every day.

I'm still working on him.

Seriously though I'm engaged in a complaint against the HMRC Tax Credits dept and their total lack of cross-checking claims even when requested to do so, and their total lack of responsibility when things go wrong.

When I've got them to a situation where they actually check with the Benefits Agency before awarding tax credits then I'll deal with the Insolvency Service who, as far as I can tell, are manned by the sort of imbeciles who used to be kept in asylums for Victorians to pay to go stare at on a weekend - but at least they do admit to their errors which is far more than can be said for the tax credits people.

If someone is stupid enough to pay £250k to have dinner with David Cameron then more fool them.

All donations are publicly recorded, and there is no evidence of any wrongdoing arising from these dinners i.e. any legislation directly introduced by David Cameron as a result of these meetings.

I know, your shameless attempts to gloss over the gutter ethics of the ConDems is an embarrassment sometimes.

Andy, surely you know it's not good to accuse others of things you're guilty of yourself? Even if it is opposite sides we're talking about.

So, if everything is above board, why has it taken little fairy-steps to gradually get to the point where Cameron is forced to release details of No. 10 dinner guests?
