Didn't think we had any chance before the game if I'm honest,and when Giants went 18-6 up I feared the worst,but the introduction of Taylor and Paea seemed to give us a big lift.
Great to see the young uns play so well against the big Hudds pack, Taylor,Josh Hodgy,Watts and Coxy all looked really good.

We put them 2 points off the leaders rather than 3.

What a great spectacle and a credit to rugby league. Rovers of last season would have capitulated but Sandy's team has got guts and balls and proved they can defend in the final quarter.

To beat the form team in the competition needed a fully committed team effort and thats what Rovers produced. I didn't think Rovers would get anywhere near the Giants but they proved me and I am sure many others wrong.

I thought it was a great gesture by Broughy at the hooter to run over to Dobbo and shake his hand. That was the best I have seen Dobbo play for Rovers in all the time he has been with us - he was inspirational!

It was also McDonnell's best game in a Rovers shirt - that tackle on George in the 2nd half was a match winner!

It also great to see and hear the West stand make some noise
