Some good rumours on here, keep it up. Was gullible anyway, but the signing of Ellis means any rumour, however ludicrous, is fair game. Had trouble with my new sig, too. Original version was over 3000 characters so serious editing required. He sounds quite good.
It's ludicrous to suggest Horne was never a great half back, because he was. He is having a good season this year, better then the past few already. Open your eyes and be happy for a Hull player playing well!

Very important word is the one highlighted. He's a very good player that had a great season. He's started the season well, but let's not be fooled, he's not good enough a halfback for a team looking to establish itself as a top 2 side. Look at the 6's of the top teams over the last few years: Briers, McGuire, Pryce, Sinfield was there most of last year for Leeds, Tomkins (when he played there)and now Finch. He's not a patch on any of those. I think there are people on here that go a bit too far with the Horne bashing, for some reason, but he can't give us what we need anymore.

Finch would be a very good signing, would use Horne in the centres if it comes off, which i doubt as I think Wigan will keep him.
Not sure about Arundel, looks Ok in parts, but not sure he is much better than Turner, would try and sign a better quality centre from the NRL or stick with what we have in Turner and Crooks.

Agreed, and like I said a few pages ago I do think we need another 6 to take us forward to the net level. But, he's playing well this season, so I say let's get behind him until any decision regarding his future is made.

For balance I feel you should add Fun time frankies view to your sig, just to prevent accusations of bias.

I do agree with the opinion that he is not the player he once was, what I find silly is claiming he was never good in the first place.
