This is your chance to support the development of RL, and to score a great bit of kit in the process.
Exeter Centurions will shortly begin our sixth season, and are marking the occasion with a new playing kit. We’re now taking orders from players and supporters for their own, personalised shirts. We’ll add them to the team kit order and have them custom-made. They’ll make a stylish, top-quality talking point, or a great present – and it’s far better than buying some bog-standard NRL kit to line the pockets of an import-export company!
This is a one-time offer, because we can’t afford to buy stock, so we won’t be re-ordering any time soon. We need to put our order in by 30th March, so if you’re keen, you’ll need to get a move on!
The shirt is red, with a ‘traditional’ double vee, white over black, with gold collar and trim. It carries the Exeter City Crest, and the Centurions logo, as well as a collection of sponsors, and the South West RL logo. We’re most likely using Raging Bull, so we’ll carry their logo small on the front, and larger across the lower back. The shirts will be a light, short-sleeved sublimated playing shirt (we’re used to warm summer rugby in these parts!), with a tapered, ‘kiwi’ collar.
The shirt itself costs £40, with £5 p&p. Kids shirts are £32.50. You also have the chance to personalise the shirt, with a number and name, for no extra cost.. Naturally, I’m going for “Wembley 71”.
If you buy online, the club makes around £6 per shirt; if you can send a cheque, that goes up to £10 without the Paypal fees. But we do need cleared funds by 30th March. All the monies go direct to the club, to help meet our running costs and development plan, including our ambitions to start a junior section.
All the details of how to order, and a low-res image of the shirt, are on the club website here:
