The Play off game was 2003. Wire took about 6,000 to that one I think.
I've not been to any matches yet this season due to various clashes and I'll be missing Sunday because of football, so Wigan away next Friday will be my 2012 debut. I'm looking forward to it.

By the way, as I've not been going the matches I've not been on here recently either, so is this the thread where we discuss what we're wearing next Friday and put Wigan fans off going, or is there another one for that?

I hope so. I'm thinking of vacating my regular West Stand spec and trying out the new Curva Sud for a couple of home games shortly, so I'll be looking for advice on how to behave in these circumstances from a gang of fat biffs in matching Wigan scarves.

Easy way to sell out the ends behind the sticks make it reserved seating, that way fans can turn up when they want and not have get there dam early to get a good spot and not have people saying im saving these seats for someone,
"I read somewhere that Leeds-Bradford is an airport, Wigan-St Helens is a rivalry. I can't wait to play my first game against them."

I much prefer unreserved and it's easy to find a decent spec at the sides anyway. Bin lids directly behind the sticks, cool cats on the periphery.
