What the telly doesn't show is deliberate flouting of the law as demonstrated by your experience today. Interesting.
How did the police handle it?
Basically just shut load of roads and let them get on with it, probably the best way to deal with it, it was a temporary inconvenience and there may have been trouble if they'd adopted any other approach.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

We're close to sin bin territory again.
I think that is a technically racist statement. Whether offensively so, would be up to travellers to decide. Just to avoid any confusion, I am not suggesting for one second that you are a racist. I'll happily debate the technicalities of it on sin bin or on the island, but this is best kept light and fluffy, IMO.

Can't be a rascist 'statement' as I clearly said it was my 'opinion'.
See you on the island, then. Isn't that an Aussie word for 'rugby pitch' and is THAT a rascist statement?
