Roddy B wrote: With regards to Holt, his 'reporting/tweeting' at the time of the event was a little sly. There was a journo, Nick Parrott, who was sat near the whole thing and he claimed it was "Manc b*stard", when Holt heard about this, his reply was typical Holt: "Are you accusing Adeyemi of lying?". He was also lapping up Darren Byfield's comments, that included this "So a liverpool fan racially abused an oldham player,I'm not surprised cuz when u have kenny dalglish backing suarez wot the hell do u expect." He then went on a tirade all night, Holt was loving it, "it's good to see black players not standing for it anymore", and so on.
I'm not too keen on Holt myself but there was clearly confusion over what the fan actually said. The Oldham player would hardly break down in tears for being called a Manc. How many fans could have actually heard what was being shouted over the famous kop atmosphere? Would imagine it would be quite low on numbers.
On a seperate note, did anything happen to the person who was doing a monkey impression to Evra, or did the people sat around him merely claim he had itchy armpits?

Yeah feel free however remember it was a Liverpool fan who brought this issue back into play on this forum rather than an opposition supporter.
I see Moyes marks 10 years in charge by picking a typical Moyes line up. The game was over once the team sheets went in. He's got Jelavic, Osman, Cahill and Drenthe sat on the bench and decides to go with Anichebe, an unfit Rodwell and Coleman.
I can take losing to Liverpool especially when the lucky breaks fall to Gerrard rather than Kuyt but it's harder to take them not even attempting to win.

Moyes finally realises that his lineup was horrendous and reverts to more like what it should have been. What an idiot, he's showing tonight again why he'll never get a job at a Champions League side, completely lacking in ambition and takes far too long to realise things aren't working.

If Everton don't come through the cup tie with Sunderland, then Moyes should do the decent thing and resign.
Absolutely shocking that he disrespects the derby with that line-up, but now he needs to make sure it doesn't backfire at the weekend, otherwise there is little option but for the man to go.

Same team as Tottenham with Pienaar in for Coleman should have been the only change!
This is not a bitter comment but we shouldn't be losing to teams like that 3-0!
It could have been 10 though. If Liverpool had a half decent striker they would have scored a hatfull, they were breaking through the middle at will. Gerrard was superb, just drove them forward all night and linked up with Suarez well.
Can a Liverpool fan tell me what Jay Spearing offers to Liverpool? His appearance is just so utterly comical, it's like a 6 year old with a gigantic head was following Gerrard round all night.

A wee old man is feeling the heat, not getting results. Calls for his head start to rumble among the stands and in the pubs. A fellow Glaswegian sees this and what does he do? David Moyes, what a gent.

I cant remember that many clear cut chances for either team to be honest. We were so so poor it was embarrassing. Lumping every ball, they won the first every time, the second and third most of the time. If we don't win against Sunderland then Mr Moyes you may well lose the faith of even the most die-hard fan.

Well Pat Nevin thinks that Moyes is the man Chelsea should get. Judging by the Evertonian's on here, I can only think he still loves Everton and is willing to throw us under the bus so we help Everton out.
