•North Stand: 4,000 capacity.
•East Stand: 6,000 capacity.
•South Stand: 4,000 capacity.
•West Stand Lower: 6,000 capacity.
•West Stand Upper: 5,000 capacity

Think it's pretty stupid if don't go because it's played at the KC, I mean if your club makes a lot more money from it and it could be £200k then I would think great for my club. It's not like your giving any advantage away anyway, you normally beat us. :(

So we could just take the lower West & part of the upper bit with the corporate. More than enough room.

Wonder what will happen with parking?

Not happy, I don't care if the capacity at CP is only 8,000, we should not give up home advantage, we are still away at their ground no matter what the seating arrangements are and will be outnumbered fan wise as though it was an FC home game.

My worry is that we are likely to be without a win for a few games going into this fixture on current play.

There are plenty on both side who won't go because its 'enemy' territory, I know one FC fan who goes to every game except CP, purely so he doesn't give Rovers money. In all other aspects of his life he is rational and sensible.

Thank god for another rational person. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), you're not Hudge.

FWIW I completely agree. However if it is to be switched, it needs to be done in the most profitable way, otherwise what's the point?

I'm sure a few fans from both sides will cut off their noses to spite their faces. I won't be one of them.

I don't have a problem with the switch or potentially sitting in the North Stand, nor do I have a problem with Rovers fans sitting in the South and/or East Stand. Not sure why anyone would, to be honest.

I would imagine the potential attendance would be more along the lines of the friendly of a few weeks ago than a Hull FC home league derby. Not necessarily because supporters are against the switch, just that as the Challenge Cup and play offs have shown in recent years, people are less willing to pay on the day than they were in the past.

I'd suggest 15k is a decent guesstimate, 7k more than CP would hold. Say thats worth an additional £150k. Take Hulls 10% on ticket sales, cost of stadium rental, KC security (or is that part of the rental cost?), loss of bar / parking revenue etc. The margins might not be that great. Worth the loss of home advantage & the ill feeling it's bound to cause amongst some fans?

Another rational person as well as whom?

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas
