Main squabble i think between fans is who will get the hudgell east stand.
Rovers east stand supporters will want it as they will want a side on view similar to a home fixture (which in essence it is) and it will pee FC fans off seeing red n white in the east stand.

Fc will want the east stand because its their seats (if the shoe was on other foot KR fans wudnt like fc to take over our east stand)

If FC get east stand more will turn up as it will truely feel like a home fixture. Still only up to 15k for me tho.
If we get east stand alot of fc will not turn up sadly. Max of 12k.

Think you've hit on the crux of the matter, here, vrr. I reckon if Hudge allows the status quo you'd get the usual derby 20k and Hudge, the SMC and us would be quids in.

I'd go whether or not I got my usual seat - always go to away matches anyway - but I'm guessing those that don't would prefer their 'own' seat or nothing, and we'd get the 'not lining his pockets' argument.

Will Hudge choose the sensible, lucrative option or the tempting churlish one?

It would, of course, be wonderful to share my seat with Sandra AND dum-dum, bogies and all, but I fear this is not to be.

Provided HKR season ticket holders are not expected to pay a penny more for this game, there shouldn't be problem from them either, unless they expect the club to fund any extra travel expenses and/or the difference in the price of a pie & a pint

I've no idea on numbers, but I'd bet there's a fair number that probably would refuse to go on principles alone. They're likely to say I bought my pass to watch Rovers @ CP - uff this wasn't mentioned @ the time purchase. I want my money back. To which, they're right - this has been thrown on us, rightly or wrongly. Just for clarity tho' - my quote for our pass holder kicking up a fuss, was more down to me saying we could potentially offer discounted tickets. (The old chestnut of discounted tickets vs devaluing a season ticket)

Then there's your lot, who want their seat and won't pay a penny towards HKR.

Great stuff and it hasn’t even been confirmed one way or the other yet where we’re playing the game.

Price of these items isn't an issue, its how well they perform in flight that's important to our lot.

Considering we're 'selling' our souls and thus genuine home advantage we really have to take the most lucrative deal on offer. Which is whatever keeps you lot happiest. As you're the key on whether this is worth our while. Otherwise what’s the point in doing this?

I don't really see the other option as churlish, it's just what goes with the territory of keeping us happy whilst inconveniencing you lot

It boils down to

£££ to keep FC fans happy/content + put out KR fans – but make £££
or
£ to keep KR fans happy/content + put out FC fans – but make less £

So what will Hudge do? And what will be Pearson's preferred option? And will the Egyptian scupper it all anyway by wanting to charge a fortune? Would Pearson lay down and die in exchange for a renegociation of the Hull FC/SMC current deal (Yes, please, btw)?

Too, too exciting.

You want Lord Faulkener to die now?

Top form today WormThing.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Well Hull Fc are away so they should be in the away supporter stand. I guess it depends on how many kr fans are actually going to go, will look pretty bad if you get the East/South stand and they look half empty.

What's the difference between the West & East stand capacity wise?

As long as I'm not behind the sticks I'll be happy.

3 of the people I stand with at CP have said they won't go if it's at the KC, I can see there being quite a few more with the same attitude.
