I'm such a cad.
The origins and evolution of meaning of the word cad are quite interesting, if you're into etymology. Or just trying to change the subject generally. Just off to steal Barista's best silver.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Sorry, I meant 50/50 in ticket numbers. My reasoning in this is that you have what, 6-7,000 season ticket holders? I really cant see all those, plus another 7 or 8,000 turning up for HKR. I do think that 10-12,000 each is do-able though.
What do you reckon?
Seems alright to me that and potentially achievable.
Rovers need to be careful to get this right, no point in annoying the Hull fans who are in two minds, the idea is after all to sell as many tickets as possible.
The Derby at the KC is a fantastic spectacle, as much as I have a slight dislike to Hull as a team, the KC does look fantastic full of black and white when viewed from the North. I know it won't be that way for this but the more fans the better.

The contrast looks ace on tv. As in red & white @ one end and black and shh white t'other.

I forgive you. After all, I'm a mere Hull fanatic who looks to jump on the bandwagon and maximize every extraordinary opportunity to full Hull advantage, whether fully thought through or not! Oh, hang on...

How very self aware my dear. I see our gentle counselling is beginning to bear fruit.
Next week, how to breathe without the aid of a paper bag when a Hudgell's Solicitors advert plays on the wireless.

With a 50/50 split it could end up having the feel of a semi-final sort of atmosphere and that would be awesome.
With regards to ticket sales, if HKR are paying for the ground then its reasonable that they get the home % that we would normally get. If we get 10% of anything that we sell then surely we are benefiting more than we would anyway?
Seems simple to me. I would give you the north and however many you would need in the west (upper and lower). Leave us with the east and south and whatever is left in the west. You would get first choice on the corporate facilities and then sell the rest on general sale.
The only issue I can see, is the Premier club ticket holders, who have their seat for whatever event is held at the KC. Other than those who have one for Hull City, and are maybe HKR fans, I would imagine the rest are HFC fans.

I think there's more chance of FC season ticket holders kicking up a fuss. No matter how it's explained to them, there'll still be the hard of thinking, who believe they should be allowed to take their allocated seat FOC.
Provided HKR season ticket holders are not expected to pay a penny more for this game, there shouldn't be problem from them either, unless they expect the club to fund any extra travel expenses and/or the difference in the price of a pie & a pint
