It worked then, but won't now, because football has moved on, and this is probably what the poster meant by Kenny being out of date.

As for Tuesday's derby, would an Everton win finally get even Kenny's loyalist followers questioning his future at the club??......(Not that I see it happening - It has a draw written all over it).

Seen as Saddened can't defend his hopeless point, I may as well reply to this.

The main criticism of Dalglish, from fans and media alike, is the signing of English-based players. However, I was completely under the impression that Comolli was the man behind all of our transfers, much like he was when he was at Spurs. I've been one of the biggest critics of our signings, I was particularly disappointed at the lack of 'bargains' from Comolli, every player (bar Bellamy, obviously, Enrique and probably Suarez) we overpaid for. For somebody whose chief role is to scout and sign players, he seems to have done a job that any Football Manager fan could have done better.

However, for the record, signing PL-based players isn't old fashioned, many sides do it. Where do you think United got Jones and Young from? Where did Citeh sign Milner, Lescott, Bridge, Barry, Adebayor, Kolo Toure and Adam Johnson from? It isn't behind the times to sign PL-based players, what's behind the times is to overspend on mediocre players when there are many better foreign players available for less.

One more point....Stefan Savic.....Frank Spencer in a football kit

We haven't played consistently well away from home for a while, and its looking pretty costly.

Defensively we always look vulnerable without Kompany, Savic is awful and not Premier League class.

Hopefully we can keep within touching distance till the Manchester derby but we have some difficult games coming up.

Also the way United are playing at the minute its difficult to see them dropping any points in the next 10 games.

As a non Liverpool or even a Premier League fan I could be way off here but is Suarez the problem for Liverpool?

They seem to miss chance after chance every game and he seems to play alot as a lone striker and has only got 6 goals from 22 appearances, am I missing what makes him a superstar?

Liverpool have had 22 more shots than United in the Premier League this season but have scored 38 fewer goals.

A Liverpool fan being let off because of witness statements from other Liverpool fans and a lack of sufficient evidence to successfully prosecute does not mean he didn't do it, or that you should support him.

Wait a minute, so it's wrong for Liverpool fans to support a man who isn't even charged with something, and it's wrong for Liverpool fans to support a player who's found guilty of something that they don't agree with? When, Saddened, is it OK for Liverpool fans to support somebody? Or is this just another classic case of you being anti-Liverpool beyond sense?
