Well, no, darling, you wouldn't. You have, as you said, just cleaned up the thread!

Did you think I was seriously advocating domestic violence?
Obviously somebody got their knickers in a twist because the wife's maxed out the credit card.

No I took it as a light hearted comment.
But most people are just user names,we know little about the real person.
Maybe STT has experianced or knows someone who has encountered domestic violence?????
I just want to keep the peace here.

We're not married.

"The Wife" is financially independent.

My knickers are not in a twist.

Domestic violence is not an amusing topic.

You're still a pillock.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Stick to being "funny" and "controversial", edgy isn't you're thing.

I'm sure your partner feels all the better when you're knocking them about. Thought process runs like this:

"Yeah, it's another black eye but at least east hull fc fan is joking".

Oh dear.

I apologise if I have caused you any offence, it certainly wasn't intended.

"Oh dear" is the standard defence of the witless when they realise that they're being shown up for the misogynistic fool that they are.

Therefore, your apology is null and void. It's also not required, you have offended no one, but we're all a little better informed of who you are to know that you think domestic violence is acceptable.
