I'd rather spend his wages on a player in a more pivotal position and play a youngster on the wing. I think his form this year has been poor and I wouldn't be surprised if England's starting wingers were Hall and Charnley. Maybe it's down to the half backs not delivering the goods but he doesn't seem as hungry at the moment. Hopefully he can pick up a bit of form and finish on a high, that's if he wants to leave.

You seriously think that both set of wingers for Brisbane, Manly, Melbourne, NZ, Souths, Roosters, Dragons, knights, Titans, Tigers, Panthers, Eels & Cowboys are better than Briscoe? Big call that.

Manly - Claiming Oldfield and Williams are both better is laughable.
Melbourne - Duffie is a young star but I'd rather have Briscoe than Quinn.
NZ - Beast is better no doubt Tupou is average.
Souths - Depends if you class their starting wingers as King and Merritt if so they are both better than Briscoe
Roosters - Perrett is safe as they come but Carney is a unknown quantity due to his injuries.
Dragons - As I said Morris and Nightingale both better.
Knights - Uate is the best in the world IMO but McManus is ordinary.
Titans - Meade is a speedster but would pick Briscoe over Michaels who is a better centre.
Tigers - Nobody has a clue how Tuquiri will come back after injury and Utai is either amazing or terrible.
To claim Panthers, Eels and Cowboys is that hilarious I'm not even going to pass comment on that.
As I've said it depends on how good you think Briscoe is. How many games against the top teams has he done anything against? Saints apart, nobody. What's he done on the international scene to warrant 'World class' status? It sounds like I'm bagging the kid, I'm not, he has all the tools. But as someone has said he lacks game intelligence and is prone to more than the odd dropped ball. I don't think he's good enough to succeed in Oz. He'll get a game somewhere, no doubt and maybe a good Aussie coach can smarten him up. Good luck to the kid though, he gets my respect for having the balls to have a crack, something Ryan Hall hasn't got.

Seems a touch unfair. Maybe he just doesn't want to go live and work in Australia.
Edit: For clarity I'm replying specifcally to your part about Ryan Hall. I'd forgotten how unclear the bold text is!

Tony Smith singled him out as the best player on the pitch when we beat Warrington last year. He's also scored tries out of nothing against Leeds. So its not just Saints.
Personally I dont think there is a better winger in Superleague with ball in hand, both in attacking areas and clearing his line. However his defence and positional sense has always been just as bad as Will Sharp was last year. However because he was so good with the ball this got brushed under the carpet. This year Sharp has improved and he hasnt and he is probably our weak link in defence atm.

Briscoe is an exceptional player but at this moment only a Hull fan could claim he's better than Ryan Hall in any department of the game.
