I thought Widnes were poor when you consider our promoted squad of 2007 was a far worse squad with far worse players yet we competed almost every week - even with the likes of crap players like Gareth Morton etc.

I understand your sentiment but wasn't our first season graced with a nilling to Saints and a few defeats to the usual suspects? All made better of course, by an emphatic 42-6 derby victory.
