Some classy moments from Hall...& what a run from Taylor, thought he was going the distance. Fair play to the Widnes fans in the North Stand, they must have been freezing!

Totally agree with all the above and I'm really liking how horne is settling in my only concern is mc donnell his defense is shocking

I'm not sure if anyone has ever said Withers is a superstar but remember he's having to take on more responsibility with Green being out so when he can concentrate on his acting half play, dominating the ruck speed and keeping us going forward we will be better for that. It is also no coincidence that our best displays have been with him in the side.
Hodgson is having a wow of a season and I am so glad he has improved beyond recognition. Horne is looking so good too, I was happy to give him a chance but he's more than impressed me and deserving of his place in the side. Galea is one of the best back rowers but how will he get back in with Horne and Mika playing so well?
Hall once again impressed with ball in hand but his brain explosions need to be reduced. This game was fine to make them in but against any good side they would punnish us for them. He was close to my man of the match but these errors probably just shaded it towards Micky Paea.

Any idea on Paea's disallowed try. From where I was it appeared that he gave Widnes a penalty after he gestured that he'd shouted held yet Paea's momentum had never stopped and he was still going forward legs pumping hard, this happened a couple of times when the ref shouted held and the Rovers player with ball in had was still pushing hard forwards and making ground.

The ref was crap as usual and they may as well not have touch judges, he is defo not a super league ref

Think you got around to answering your own question there. Roby called held and Paea continued hence a penalty. Whether Roby should have called held is another question.
