I am going to save my points for the closing sale. I used GAME all the time up until around 2004 when they started getting a bit over priced. Since around 2007, the few times I have bought from them it's been one bad experience after another. 3 times I have bought games from them advertised as new which ended up being pre-owned. 2 DS games that had save files on them, and a PS3 game from online which came with a cover full of dog teeth marks and a tatty manual.

Nintendo and Ubisoft games too apparently, just hasn't been confirmed yet.

always found GAME a bit pricey and it's very rare that I use them, generally the same game can be found cheaper 100yds up the road in Gamestation, and there's also a CEX inbetween the 2, who's emergence on the scene has probably played a part in the undoing of GAME. Although I kind of hope they don't disappear as this will probably give Gamestation and all the other competitors an excuse to push their prices up.

What or where is Grainger? CEX isn't a proper games shop is it? Isn't that a pawn shop for electrical goods or does it sell new goods too? Warrington is a fairly large town centre so we're quite lucky to have a couple, but I'll bet there are plenty that just have Game and Gamestation or just game. Hasn't the Trafford Centre only got two Game stores?

Cheers for the heads up, just ordered myself a copy. Another one to add to the growing pile of unplayed games that I buy on a whim whenever they're reduced in price
