You may, I don't.

I've been boycotting anything Murdoch owned for many years.

If you don't like it don't buy it. its as simple as that. if enough people feel the same way then it won't last. Totally pointless anyone getting their knickers in a twist about it. Too many people living in glass houses in GB today. especially those of you saying i stopped buying it when.... It was people like you who fed the cash cow and allowed the alledged common practice of hacking, sensationalising journalism etc to flourish. i would hazzard a guess that the entire media world wide is corrupt. inc the good old Guardian.

That's commendable, and it probably gives you a good feeling, but it won't have mattered a jot to the people who you have a gripe against.

I don't condone the actions of those at the News of the World, or indeed all the other newspapers (because they have all been upto wrongdoings, whatever they say), nor do I particularly like Murdoch, but I want a life and if I'm to hold a grudge against all those in the world who don't adhere to my own beliefs, then I'm going to live a very dull existance.

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

launching any new print newspaper seems about as relevant to me as launching a new steam traction engine, I never buy any newspapers although news websites make up a large proportion of my browsing

I don't buy anything Murdoch related simply due to my dislike of the arrogant, predatory Australian tycoon. He could own anything and I wouldn't buy it.

I feel that all the people pointing the finger at him over the hacking scandal are missing the target by a long way - that must be primarily be the individual editors.

As I say, I just think Murdoch is a c**t

The last News of the World should have read “You Have No New Messages” not “Thank You and Goodbye”. And it would have been more appropriate for Murdoch to have given the bloke who chucked a pie and yelled insulting names at him his own slot on Fox News not a conviction.

The man was guilty of a violent criminal offence, be angry and bitter if you like, I doubt Murdoch, or many other people, care what you think.

politics of envy on the sin bin again, as it always has and ever will be.

Quite apart from anything else, Murdoch has - here as in the States - helped to dumb down the general standard of public discourse. He's not responsible alone, but has played a substantial role in that.

But doubtless such an analysis is "the politics of envy".

And that's without mentioning your apparent approval - or at least lack of any concern - with the not unrelated issue of what we KNOW has gone on at at least one of his businesses.

Is anger at crime and corruption now "the politics of envy" too?
