Once a decision is known re the North Stand, Mike hinted that the golf stand would be dismantled and the club would consider opening the South Terracing, which 'strangely' (Mike's term) will increase capacity to 9,000.
Except noone in their right minds would pay more than £5 to stand in there.
Surely a rental on another golf type stand must be the way to go, short term

Interesting that the South Stand isn't considered as part of our capacity right now, but when a time comes it will be.
Also, do confabulate with Mike Smith on a daily basis? If I see him in pub tonight, I'm gonna quiz him

Don't think it'd be very cost-effective. Even if Rovers could just rent one, the cost of moving and erecting it wouldn't be insignificant.

Good to see that Mike "Hopeless" Smith is able to communicate on capacity issues double quick but has so far taken about nine months to compose an email about crowd trouble at Headingly.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Either way it doesn't solve the problem. The south end in one shape or form will eventually need addressing. Don't forget Mike Smith has said in the past they have 'plans' - unique in fact - or something along them lines. If that involved the current Golf Stand, then I guess we might need to find a new structure to fill it's place

Why would we need to. It's a HCC asset and it's sat currently in a HCC storage facility.

Dont want it. It would probably cover the game time clock for some supporters and that important you know. Judging by the kc on sunday are you trying to fill your ground one row at a time?
